After The Kids Are In Bed (ATKAIB) is a parenting podcast by LA Moms Melissa & Hannah. They each have 2 kids, husbands who work in production & a dog.
Born and raised in Utah, Melissa moved to Los Angeles to pursue the stage and screen in her 20’s with her amazing husband, Andy, and oldest daughter, Isabella. They have been here ever since and now have a tiny little condo to call their own and added another daughter, Viola. She has a business background and worked in finance in private mortgage banking for many years before switching gears and becoming a famous animal influencer manager when she turned 40. She has always wanted to do a podcast on parenting and knew that she found a good match when she became friends with Hannah. She has many, many tattoos and is a celebrated performer and artist. She swears a lot and has a 3-legged dog named Sadie. She is a UFO chaser and conspiracy believer (sometimes).
She’s a wife (to Andy) and mother (to Isabella,18 and Viola, 7 and to fur baby Sadie).
Likes: Tattoos, Traveling, Animals, Painting, Writing, Acting, Succulents and Cacti, A good book, warm fires on cold days, the beach and vegan food.
Dislikes: Driving in LA traffic, rude people, being away from Andy and the girls, name-droppers, whiny kids, her own ego
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Hannah is a writer of published essays featured on Mother Mag, and Moms Who Rule The World, she’s also written several children’s stories. As an advocate for honest parenting adventures she was inspired to start this podcast with Melissa in hopes of bringing parents together through her truth, humor, and maybe even some tears, and share some funny stories from this journey we call parenthood.
She’s a wife (to Matt) and mother (to Iris, 7 and Tilden, 2 and to fur baby Gypsy). Yes, she’s a mother but she’s also just a girl, standing in front of her kids, asking why they still haven’t cleaned their room.
Likes: Coffee, Cooking and Baking, Adventures, Animals, rainy days, French Fries, Puns, nice people.
Dislikes: Finding hair in my food, no parking, not being able to sneeze, hard boiled eggs, when people say “I’m not really an animal person”, stepping in gum.
